Cream of Crab Soup

Note from Dave: This is one of my 10 favorite recipes of all time.
  • 2/3 c butter
  •  2/3 c flour
  • 1 ½ c chicken broth
  • ½ c milk
  • 1 qt. of half and half
  • 1 T parsley
  • 1 T old bay (to taste)
  • 1 lb. of crab
  • Melt butter in sauce pan, add flour stir until smooth.
  • Add chicken broth, stirring constantly, simmer @ 2 minutes
  • Gradually add in milk and half and half, stirring constantly until thick (20 min.)
  • Add in remaining ingredients.
  • Enjoy!!!!
