He Said: “Life is Messy” (& so is my freakin’ pantry)
I had a GREAT Memorial Day Weekend. We hit the pool twice, I actually made it to the gym all 3 days, we rearranged the kids’ rooms, and the weather, for the majority of the weekend, was in agreement with our plans. Probably the best part of the holiday was the fact that I finished the yardwork on Thursday, and didn’t have to worry about it for the weekend. When I finished on Thursday evening, I mentioned to Kat how relieved I was, and she could not have cared LESS! It’s crazy how something so important to me was just tossed aside like a rag towel by Kat.
Now, I’m supposed to be delighted that she cleaned the pantry? To be fair, I have to admit that it’s now much easier to find the snacks on the snack shelf – the snacks that are calling my name…begging me to get off of this damn cleansing program!
Kat was staring in the pantry all evening, looking at the end result of her and Adrienne’s hard work. I spent all evening staring at what I can’t eat, like a dog out the window…
