Giveaway Wednesdays! Bento Style Lunchboxes = Easy Mornings
July 28, 2010 by Kat
**** NIKKI has won this Giveaway and has been notified. Thanks to ALL who have participated!****
So, I rarely accept the opportunity to post a review for a product. I’ve been blessed with being contacted by many to review and speak on behalf of products, but I need to really hone in on:
- Is this something my audience needs? Can they relate to, or find a use for, it?
- Has the company gone out of their way to provide all of the warm-and-fuzzies to me? Because, I am the baby to six and all. I’m used to not getting any the attention and all.
I have a GIVEAWAY that’s easy to win, and
JUST IN TIME for Back to School !
Enter Kelly Lester of EasyLunchboxes.com. Like me, she’s a ridiculously busy mom herself, and even though we’ve never met in person, I feel like I know her. Like a cousin. She’s one of those people who you feel so good about; she’s poised, professional, and human.
And, she had a great idea. Aside from the fact that I’m OBSESSED with anything that is functional, plastic, has compartments, is organizational, and actually last longer than a few months — she hit the ball out of the park on this one. A kids’ back to school lunchbox system that withstands time, dishwashers, camps, and the carelessness of toddlers and elementary kids alike.
I know my mornings are spent in chaos making breakfast, beds (hubs would laugh at that one), & preparing the four kids’ lunch boxes. Primarily, using EasyLunchboxes.com’s system allows me more time tweeting, blogging, checking email with my kids before I shooo send them off to school.
- The EasyLunchbox system makes it simple to organize and quickly pack healthy lunches without wasting money, time, paper or plastic.
- The system is not just for kids. My and hub’s adult size meals fit perfectly too.
- I get so frustrated in the mornings — wasted time sorting through a cabinet of mismatched food containers while trying to pack 30 (LITERALLY!!) well-balanced lunches per week. Eckt – I had sending my kids with expensive, pre-packaged Lunchables or whatever.
- These bento style lunchboxes are attractive, eco-friendly, and made of food-safe materials. AND, they go in the DISHWASHER!
Here is the simple two piece EasyLunchbox container (see slideshow below):
- The bottom has three compartments to hold an entree or sandwich and two side dishes.
- The fitted lid (which comes in 4 colors) covers all three compartments in a snap. No more mismatched plastic container pieces to keep track of (matching up all those bottoms and lids was the thing that drove me nuts!) or wasteful baggies.
- Fits perfectly inside the roomy EasyLunchbox custom carrying bag (which can also be personalized!). And there is still plenty of room to throw in an extra snack or two, whole fruit, perhaps a thermos of soup, drink and ice block.
Kelly even offers other “NEAT IDEAS for your lunches” including a Gallery of Yummy Lunch Ideas (I will SOO be on this page every Sunday, trying to plan what-the-heck I’m going to feed the kids that upcoming week… LOVE these ideas!)
