Giveaway Wednesdays! Bento Style Lunchboxes = Easy Mornings

**** NIKKI has won this Giveaway and has been notified. Thanks to ALL who have participated!**** So, I rarely accept the opportunity to post a review for a product. I’ve been blessed with being contacted by many to review and speak on behalf of products, but I need to really hone in on: Is this [...]

Wordless Wednesdays

First time I used my new zoom lens on my Canon Rebel. This was taken in June, before daughter’s Dance Recital. MAY be my favorite picture of all time.

Works-for-Me-Wednesday: Cute lunch cards 2 let kids know u love ‘em!

I had lunch with my daughter yesterday, and saw that one of the little girls we were sitting with had been sent in with a love note, from her mom. It made me feel like a terrible mommy (albeit, it was scribbled on a napkin), as I’ve only done that (like) once this year. I [...]

Bendaroos – Great gift idea! Not as messy as Play-Dough or Clay

November 29, 2009 by Kat

These Bendaroos look pretty cool! Evidently, you get 500 of them for the $19.95. I don’t know about you, but I’m SICK of picking up clay and Play-Dough from my kitchen floor! These seem ideal, and I really think I’m going to get them for my kids’ stockings!

My favorite site to organize, store, and show off our family’s pics!

November 23, 2009 by Kat

I searched HIGH and LOW for a solution to my ever-growing problem of storing and exhibiting my family’s photos. More importantly, I wanted family to be able to download a HIGH RESOLUTION image at NO COST (vs. other mainstream sites that charge to do so). Anyway, I can’t say enough great things about Phanfare.  If [...]

Our favorite DANCE SCHOOL in Raleigh / Wake Forest

November 23, 2009 by Kat

This is what I wrote for a Google “Review” of our Dance School. Check here to see what tons of others have to say about it, as well! Although my daughter is only 6 years old, this is our 2nd year at The Dance Attic/TDA (mind you, TDA is our 3rd dance studio). I was [...]

Our most favorite preschools in Raleigh

November 23, 2009 by Kat

Our family has been around the block, as it relates to checking out Preschools. For one, we were (my version of) kicked out of more than one — before the school year even began — because of my son’s food allergies a few years ago. You really don’t want to get me started why, and [...]

I would have been all over Belly Bundles during my pregnancies: ridiculously affordable and chic maternity clothes

November 18, 2009 by Kat

I can’t say enough fabulous things about this site that two very dear, and amazing, friends Carrie Pier and Jennie Greene, launched while they were both knee-deep into their 3rd pregnancies. What a GENIUS concept — and, as the title says — I would have been all over a resource like Belly Bundles during my [...]

Adorable, personally designed baby gifts from Tiny Feet Designs!

November 18, 2009 by Kat

An admirable friend who I went to Syracuse University with (and a ‘regular’ to my Hilton Head Annual Girls’ Weekend) started Tiny Feet Designs years ago, and her products are remain adorable and up to date! You definitely have to consider her site next time you have to send a Baby Gift to someone special [...]

Kids will take OVER your entire 1st floor, running around while Laurie Berkner is on…

November 18, 2009 by Kat

These song are awesome.  We always loved Laurie Berkner, and if memory serves me correctly, I believe the first time we heard her was on Noggin (meanwhile, is that even still a TV station??).  Her voice, and animated dancing and singing, just made my kids so happy (I couldn’t hold a candlestick to her).  Then, [...]
